South St. Block Watch Evening of 1.24.2017
Last night Halifax represented at the South St. Block Watch meeting.
Some interesting materials were handed out to aid area residents with topics ranging from information about important City programs; to safety in the home.
We were sad to hear that one of the grants the City uses to tear down houses was not available in 2017.
Halifax's interest in the South St. area continues to increase. The potential to grow, and become a valuable partner by rebuilding the properties in the
area is a very real goal for 2017.
Very interesting/informative evening.
